A developing low over the southwestern Gulf is likely to become a Tropical Depression within the next day, potentially impacting portions of the U.S. Gulf Coast later this week and into the weekend. Please continue to monitor for further updates.

Another night of quiet conditions is expected across the ArkLaTex, with mostly clear skies aside form a few clouds south. Temperatures will drop off to morning lows in the upper 50s north and lower 60s south by daybreak.

If you saw rain last week thru the weekend, then consider yourself lucky as portions of Northern Louisiana and Southern Arkansas mostly missed out. While their may be some minor improvement to the Flash Drought conditions across Northeast Texas, Southeast Oklahoma and extreme Southwest Arkansas and Northwest Louisiana, much of Northern Louisiana and South Central Arkansas will not see any improvement.
